FAQs

Q?

Do I have to make an appointment to pick up some sand and gravel or can I just drive in?

A.

Our Sanscorp site is open from 7AM to 4PM Monday to Friday, located just off the Lougheed Highway between 240th and 264th in Maple Ridge. Just drive in, check in with the yard office/scale, load your truck or trailer, head back to the scale, pay and you are on your way. No appointment necessary.

Q?

I don’t have a truck and where I live won’t allow big trucks in to deliver the soil I need for my garden. Can you deliver smaller quantities in smaller vehicles?

A.

Yes. We have independent owner/operators with delivery vehicles on call so we can deliver smaller loads.

Q?

Do you have landscaping supplies?

A.

We provide rock, sand and soil mixes to contractors and the general public for landscaping projects from back yards to sports fields. Building materials like lumber and cement blocks can be obtained from your local building supply centers.

Q?

Can you recommend someone for site excavation?

A.

Through our contractor contacts we can arrange for your site excavation and removal for both large and small projects.

Q?

I’m a contractor with multiple sites. Can you service multiple sites and track the loads, delivery times and product delivered?

A.

We provide materials management services that make it easy for contractors and developers to track their on and off site product movements through detailed time stamped delivery reports that will track the load from point of departure to site and back.

Q?

Do you deliver and if so, are you able to handle large orders?

A.

Sanscorp can deliver any quantity of sand, soil or rock product to homeowners or large job sites anywhere on the lower mainland. All of our ruck boxes are washed prior to loading so you can be assured of uncontaminated loads.

Q?

What is so special about river sand?

A.

There are different qualities of dredged river sand. Our sand is dredged from the fast flowing navigation channel which makes it virtually silt free. Silt free sand has the best drainage and filtration specifications which makes it perfect for multiple applications from soil blends to preloads.

Q?

Do you mix your own soils or do you bring in premixed soils from other places?

A.

We mix our own soil blend. The only way to ensure the quality and consistency of a blend is to do it yourself.
